My name is Dave Jacobs and I specialize in small churches. With almost
30 years experience in pastoring small churches, I’ve done it all and seen
it all. I’ve planted churches, merged churches, and closed churches. I’ve
run fund raising campaigns in a small church, held services in community
centers, high schools, Seventh Day Adventist churches, and even had my
own building. I’ve had great ideas, poor ideas, and stupid ideas. In fact, I’
ve probably learned more from my mistakes than from my successes. I
understand the small church. But even better, I understand the small
church pastor. I’ve survived the ups and downs of pastoring in the small
church. I know the advantages and disadvantages of working in a small
church, and in addition to this, I like pastors of small churches. I know
what it is like for you. I understand.
